 Once, I read a short tale written by James O' Brian, he was an american writer who was sent to fight in the second world war and he died there, he was very young, maybe my age now.   That beautiful tale was named "The Diamond Lens" and I found it in

Once, I read a short tale written by James O' Brian, he was an american writer who was sent to fight in the second world war and he died there, he was very young, maybe my age now.

That beautiful tale was named "The Diamond Lens" and I found it in an old book that my dad inherited from my grandfather, I was bored at my parents home so I started to look for an "interesting tittle" on that little library...

The story was about a scholar of biology who was "obsessed" with his numerous investigations trough the microscope, he always wanted to go further, to know more, to have the most powerful lens in the world, so he end up putting a diamond lens to his microscope...

 One day he put a drop of water on his glass sheet, and without knowing that amazing beauty he was about to see, he felt in love with a women that was inside that drop of water; all of her world was harmonious, with soft movements, with such a splend

One day he put a drop of water on his glass sheet, and without knowing that amazing beauty he was about to see, he felt in love with a women that was inside that drop of water; all of her world was harmonious, with soft movements, with such a splendid way to behave that he find he's own world so abrupt, so rough, so chaotic... He went for a walk and when he came back from his walk trough his rough world, the drop of water was evaporating!!! everything became turbulent and ugly, that destruction made him loose his mind completely!
